Martial two goals away from costing Man Utd an extra £8.6m ..                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Anthony Martial is two goals away from costing Manchester United another €10 million (£8.6m) as a clause in his transfer agreement will be triggered.

The France international forward has been in hot form for the Red Devils of late, scoring four times in his last six outings, working his way closer to the forefront of manager Jose Mourinho’s plans.
But when he reaches the milestone of 25 goals for the club – something he is only two strikes away from doing – the Old Trafford outfit will have to stump up another €10m to Monaco, according to documents obtained by Football Leaks back in January 2016.
The 21-year-old forward arrived from the Ligue 1 outfit in the summer of 2015 with little reputation in England, so his fee of €50 million seemed extravagant at the time.
However, the attacker, who has been likened to Thierry Henry, quickly made a positive impression by scoring 17 goals in England during his first season – including a superb winner against Liverpool only weeks after arriving.
Last weekend, he struck his sixth goal of the season against Reading in the FA Cup, and though he was overshadowed by Wayne Rooney equalling the club’s record goal tally, he is closing in on his first significant landmark.
There are two other scenarios that could see the final fee United pay for the Frenchman rise to close to €90 million.
Firstly, if Martial reaches 25 international caps – he is currently on 15 selections – they will pay another instalment of €10m, and another similar payment if he finishes in the top three of the Ballon d’Or voting at any stage during his stay.
United may also have to give Monaco a further sum should they sell him for over €60m, although this depends on which of the previous clauses are met.

Arsenal fans are not waiting for the first north London derby of the season to reignite their long-running rivalry with Tottenham after poking fun at their £30m signing of Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle, with the France midfielder insisting for years that he wants to play for the Gunners. Sissoko went public on more than one occasion with his desire to play for Arsenal, having seen a string of French internationals pass through the club during Arsene Wenger’s 20-year reign. But while Arsenal considered making a move for the 27-year-old in recent years, his terrible form last season looked to put them off for good. He did impress at Euro 2016 as hosts France reached the final, though that only annoyed Newcastle fans further due to a belief that he simply hadn’t tried to perform to his best level during the 2015/16 campaign as the Magpies were relegated to the Championship. At one point, Sissoko looked to be on his way to Everton after they lodged a £30m offer, but the move trigger
